With a legacy of nearly forty years in advanced testing equipment, ATE Aerotech approached Done and Dusted Design for a much needed rebrand – to modernise their aesthetic and reflect the calibre of their own expertise and that of their extensive client portfolio.


Since 1985, ATE has provided aerodynamic test equipment for wind tunnel testing as well as supplying state of the art test and robotic equipment for a myriad of other complex engineering applications. Their worldwide clients are giants in the educational, research, industrial, automotive, motorsport, aerospace and defence sectors, so their brand needs to sit comfortably beside these peers.


We started with creating an iconic ATE letterform, around the concept of leading edge technology and progression – they are true innovators in their field and the brand should infer this. Taking cues from aerospace and automotive branding, we created a logo with real international resonance.


Updating the colour palette to a more modern reference to their British heritage, we used a san serif typeface that allowed a mix of use for their signage, uniforms, product divisions and equipment referencing – whilst maintaining a solid hierarchy for consistency.


For the website, we brought this right up to date utilising stunning imagery from key clients in a clean, refined framework and allowing the sheer magnitude of their capabilities across industry and product development shine.
